nice stuff here, very very nice
HI cool forum glad to be right here:)
We toured various chocolate shops in the South End. It was a lovely day for it, and our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about chocolate, and got to taste some new varieties. I particularly liked the Taza chocolate with chili pepper! I even went back and bought some the next day for my Aunt.
We went on the South End tour this weekend. Our guide was Emma; she was very outgoing, friendly and knowledgeable. She kept things upbeat and moving, but gave us time to relax and savor the chocolate as we went. I learned a lot about chocolate, and found a few places in the city that I hadn't known about before, but will certainly be back to!
Had in incredible time with Emma on the South End Chocolate Walking Tour. It satisfied all my chocolate cravings and was an excellent five year anniversary celebration with my husband. It was well paced and Emma kept us consistently entertained. Totally down to earth and lots of fun. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone...especially fellow pregnant ladies. Quite the experience!
What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon in Boston. I would recommend Boston Chocolate Walking Tours to visitors AND lifelong Bostonians! I learned so much -- about the city that I now call home, about the proper way to taste chocolate, about why different chocolates taste the way that they do, and ALL about the history of my favorite treat. The tour was a perfect length, the walk refreshing, and the chocolate amazing ... and quite plentiful! The company was wonderful, too -- who couldn't be at their most pleasant when sharing a day devoted to chocolate? I absolutely loved the tour and am betting that everyone I tell about it will too. Thank you, Valerie & company! :)
Having thoroughly enjoyed my Chicago tour when I was there on vacation, I was thrilled to hear that there would soon be Boston tours as well, as that is much closer to home. The Boston Tour was just as much of a delight. What better way to spend an afternoon can there be, than walking around an interesting city, learning more about chocolate, and, best of all, indulging in heavenly tastes of the 'food of the Gods.' I love the whole premise of the Chocolate Tour, of being introduced to treasures tucked away in the city, where I would certainly never have found them on my own, led by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. Being one of those people that strangers talk to like old friends, I ended up talking to women at the train station and on the train on the way home about our terrific tour, and they were quite intrigued as well - some day they may be coming your way. and if they do, they will have a wonderful afternoon.
What a fabulous tour! I grew up in Boston and had no idea that there were such chocolate treasures here. Valerie, our tour guide, was enchanting. The chef at Aroa Chocolates gave us a wonderful education on how to enjoy chocolate (something I never knew) as we began the tour. Thank you Boston Chocolate Tours for such a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
I enjoyed myself thoroughly on my recent excursion with Boston Chocolate Walking Tours!!! Our tour guide was delightful and filled me in on numerous fun facts about the city. All the store owners were charming and extremely knowledgeable, and the samples were delicious and presented beautifully! I can't wait to introduce my chocoholic friends to this terrific tour!!
